Guelph Arts Council’s Fall 2021 programming includes the Guelph Emerging Artist Mentorship Project’s culminating exhibition, Unfolding. The exhibition will run from Nov. 30 to Dec. 12, 2021 at the Boarding House Gallery, 6 Dublin St. S, Guelph.
Unfolding is an initiative of participants in the Guelph Emerging Artist Mentorship Project’s Fall 2021 round. It features the work of emerging visual/media artists Jessica Buchanan, Fern Cooper, Nancy MacNabb, Dana McCool, Nico Newton, Emma Ongman, Maria Ryzhova, Mike Salisbury; Larissa Sorek, Ellen Snowball, and Jessica Spooner, and emerging musicians Jahshona Goddard and Nina Platiša.
The exhibition project includes the following in-person events at the Boarding House Gallery:
- Friday, Dec. 3, 7 p.m. Opening Reception
- Sunday, Dec. 5, 7 p.m. Performance featuring Jahshona Goddard and Nina Platiša
The community is invited to meet and celebrate Guelph-Wellington’s emerging creatives at these free events. Please note: Masks and proof of vaccination are required to attend.

The Guelph Emerging Artist Mentorship Project supports artists, musicians, and cultural managers in the critical transition to professional life. Emerging-artist participants in each project round are mentored by established regional artists. Guelph Arts Council is grateful to the 43 mentors who have guided 74 emerging artists since the project began in 2017.
