TORONTO - Bingo! Susan Bennett of Guelph won a $50,000 top prize with Instant Bingo (Game #3029).

Susan, a 73-year old married grandmother of four, played her ticket at home. She initially thought her ticket wasn’t a winner but decided to double check.

“I called out to my husband, I think I just won $50,000!” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her cheque.

Then the retiree scanned her ticket using the OLG Lottery app.

"It said big winner – I was numb. It still doesn’t feel real,” she smiled.

Susan plans to take a moment before deciding on her next steps, but will likely invest some of her winnings.

“To celebrate, I am going to buy myself a pinky ring so I can always remember this moment and extend my luck!” she concluded.

Instant Bingo is available for $3 a play and the top prize is $50,000. Odds of winning any prize are one in 3.79.

The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on Silver Creek Parkway in Guelph.
