Guelph healthcare workers got together recently to record a version of the Bill Withers classic song 'Lean On Me' as a message of hope to the people of Guelph.

The video was uploaded May 1 and had almost 4,000 views in its first day.

It shows a number of frontline workers singing the song via a Zoom call as photos and videos of people in the healcare profession, including some candid moments from the hospital and the assessment clinic.

"This video was made by health care workers in Guelph. We are not professional musicians or movie makers (obviously!) but we are professionals at what we do and that is to look after our community, like our community is looking after us," said Dr. Jackie Nemni, who posted the video.
