Three days of free, live music at city parks began Thursday

The 2021 Guelph Jazz Festival got underway on Tuesday, with the 'In The Parks' series launching Thursday afternoon and set to continue through Saturday at various city parks.

The free, live music event runs Thursday and Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. and Saturday from 2:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. with performances at York Road Park, Mollison Park, and Norm Jary Park.

Each includes performances from three artists or bands.

Lisa Conway performed Tuesday and Wednesday at the Goldie Mill Park ruins, and will entertain the audience there again Thursday from 5 to 10 p.m. 

Free Friendly Rich Marsella and The Birds of Marsville performances got underway at the ruins beginning at 4 p.m. They’ll also perform Friday at noon on the River Run Centre patio and Saturday at noon in front of City Hall.

Guelph Jazz Festival also includes a number of paid, indoor performances.
