A Guelph man faces several child pornography charges after officers searched a west end home Tuesday, report Guelph police.
The Guelph Police Service Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit began an investigation in December after receiving information about images of child sexual abuse being shared online.
Tuesday morning, officers with the ICE and Technological Crimes units executed a warrant at a home near Elmira Road South and West Acres Drive. Evidence was found and several phones and other electronic devices were seized for further examination.
A 19-year-old Guelph man is charged with possessing child pornography, accessing child pornography and distributing child pornography.
