If you’re out and spot a fake taxi call 911, says Guelph Police Services.

On Saturday evening, police tweeted they are looking for an individual after receiving three reports about a fake taxi. The incidents occurred within the central Guelph area.

Officials say the person driving the taxi has been approaching people, possibly to compromise their debit card.

Police are warning people to keep an eye out for a black older Crown Victoria vehicle with a faded “Beck Taxi” sign on the roof.
