The Guelph Pride flag raising and community barbecue takes place Saturday, May 5, at Market Square.

The event, which features a barbecue, flag raising, entertainment and speeches, runs from noon to 3 p.m.

This year's local Pride event is 15 days celebrating 15 years of Guelph Pride. It kicked off on April 28 and end wrap up on May 14.
