Janice Best of Guelph is $2.6 million richer thanks to the Princess Margaret Cottage Lottery.

Best was announced Thursday as the add-on winner of the 50/50 draw that was part of the annual fundraiser where the top prizes are cottages in the Kawarthas.

Best's payout in the 50/50 draw was $2,634,350.

The grand prize in the annual fundraiser for Princess Margaret cancer research was a $2.8 million lakefront cottage plus $100,000 cash.
