The Guelph.Beer Bus returns for the third year, with the first tour taking place April 15.

A monthly bus tour of Guelph's breweries is back for another year.

The Guelph.Beer Bus returns April 15, after a successful return in 2022, when over 5,000 people rode the bus.

It's a free shuttle bus, and is open to everyone including families, with stops at a few local breweries. Wellington Brewery, Fixed Gear Brewing, Sleeman Brewing, Brothers Brewing and Royal City Brewing are currently part of the partnership.

Locally brewed beer will be available, but also food vendors, food trucks and tap room activities at select breweries.

This includes music, DJs, photo booths and more.

"Returning after a hugely successful run in 2022, Guelph’s brewers are excited to share this project," Cam Fryer, founder and owner of Royal City Brewing said in a news release.

"Guelph is the only city in Canada with a ‘beer bus’ and we’re looking forward to bringing back this one-of-a-kind project in 2023."

This is the third year for the bus. Last year marked the first bus tour following a two-year pandemic hiatus.

The Guelph.Beer Bus will hit the road for eight Saturdays through the year, including Guelph.Beer Day on Nov. 18.

The bus runs every 30 minutes between noon and 7 p.m.

The other dates for the bus are: May 13, June 24, July 22, Sept. 16, Oct. 14 and Dec. 16.
