Special weather statement in effect for:
- Guelph - Erin - Southern Wellington County
- Kitchener - Cambridge - Region of Waterloo
Heavy precipitation expected this evening.
A band of slow moving precipitation has developed over the region and is bringing locally heavy rain to the area.
The band is currently located along the Highway 401 corridor and continues to slowly move southward.
Local amounts of 30 to 50 mm are possible in a short period of time.
