Oosterveld's Winter Wear Drive collecting much needed items

Winter clothing items will be collected at Friday, Oct. 21, Guelph Storm game to be distributed to the needy throughout the community.

Oosterveld Heating and Air Conditioning is running the Winter Wear Drive in support of Hope House.

They will be collecting new and gently used coats, hats, boots, mittens, gloves and scarves for Hope House, non-profit organization helping to overcome poverty in the Guelph area by providing tangible, compassionate assistance and care to those in need in the community.

Fans that bring donation items will have a chance to win some great prizes during the game.

Most needed items are adult clothing, including men's winter coats and boots.

Friday's game against the North Bay Battalion starts at 7:30 p.m.

Hope House also accepts donations at 75 Norfolk St.
