It appears we could hear more about expansion plans for Highway 7, between Kitchener and Guelph, in a few weeks.
That word coming from Ontario Transportation Minister Jeff Yurek, who was at the University of Waterloo on Tuesday for an announcement about automated vehicles.
"We're still doing our multi year planning on the Highway 7 expansion and we'll have more to discuss in coming weeks, actually." Yurek told 570 NEWS.
The Ford government announced in November it was reviewing the funding for the long delayed four lane project.
In the past two decades, the province has spent over $100 million on studies, assessments and planning.
