Guelph police investigating after a downtown-area homeowner was confronted in his home Tuesday night. The intruder was possibly responsible for a break and enter at the same home over the weekend.
On Monday morning, a resident of Glasgow Street South reported someone entered his home over the weekend while he was away. Items were located in various areas of the home.
Tuesday, just before midnight, a man called police and reported he was sleeping when an unknown woman entered his bedroom. She allegedly claimed the homeowner was sleeping in her bed and threatened to harm him before leaving the house.
She was described as white, approximately 35 and wearing a black and grey jacket.
