Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was in Guelph Friday to announce the federal government has reached an agreement with the City of Guelph to fast-track nearly 750 new housing units over the next three years.

Trudeau was touring the new supportive home being built on Shelldale Crescent Friday morning around 11.

The funds are part of the Housing Accelerator Fund which will provide over $21.4 million to eliminate barriers to building housing.
