Just a few weeks after he released his 14th studio album, legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen has died.
His official Facebook page confirmed the news shortly before 9 p.m.
"It is with profound sorrow we report that legendary poet, songwriter and artist, Leonard Cohen has passed away," said the post.
"We have lost one of music’s most revered and prolific visionaries."
The cause of death has not been released.
