Library launches downtown StoryWalk Challenge

Looking for a fun, family activity this summer? Then why not visit the Guelph Public Library’s Main Library to pick up your Downtown Guelph StoryWalk® Challenge form? Enjoy visiting various Downtown Guelph businesses to read the story, Sometimes I Feel Like a Fox written and illustrated by Danielle Daniel - used with permission from Groundwood Books Ltd., Toronto.

Starting at the Main library (100 Norfolk Street), read the book from one page to the next, in both English and French, as you stroll along the windows of the following businesses (in order):

  • Creative Edge
  • Feather and Foe
  • The Bookshelf
  • Wyndham Art Supplies
  • The Flour Barrel
  • Skyline
  • Noki Farms
  • Planet Bean
  • Artatexture Hair
  • The Stone Store
  • Simply Wonderful Toys
  • Market Fresh
  • Janus Books
  • Main Library

On your StoryWalk® Challenge entry form, write down the storyboard page number that matches the correct business logo and name. Then return your completed entry to the Main Library before September 5, 2022 to be entered into our randomly selected prize draws.

“The goal of our Downtown Guelph StoryWalk® Challenge is to provide an engaging family literacy activity to our summer reading club participants while also helping to drive traffic to our Downtown community,” shares Supervisor of Community Engagement, Meg Forestell-Page. “It’s a great way to get out as a family and connect with local businesses.”
