Premier Doug Ford is slated to make an announcement at 1 p.m. today.
Ford will be joined by Education Minister Stephen Lecce and the Associate Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Barbara Yaffe for the announcement in Etobicoke.
The announcement today comes a day after Ontario health officials confirmed that modelling data indicates the province may have avoided the worst-case scenario.
