BioPed Footwear and Orthotics in Downtown Guelph is making a charitable effort to help area nurses stay comfortable on the job.

The store at 102 Wyndham St. N, is offering free knee high compression socks to all the nurses in Guelph until the end of May.

"This is to thank all the amazing and hard working nurses for all they have done and all the hours they are putting in," said BioPed manager Meghan Knos. "We hope this will give some relief to any leg stress and discomfort for all the standing they do, and also as a thank you for keeping our community safe."

Nurses wanting a pair of the compression socks can call (519) 821-7310 or email [email protected].
