Locked out workers at Guelph's Hematite Manufacturing are going back to work.

Employees voted 49-11 in favour of a new offer on Friday. They had twice rejected the company's offer.

"The company backed off on some key issues the union pushed back on, such as around rotating shifts, wages and vacation time," said Workers United Canada Council on its web site.

Workers were locked out of the Speedvale Avenue West plant on Sept. 11.
