Man with scissors demands drugs

Robbery- Arrest

On Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at 5:20 p.m., a lone male entered a pharmacy on Wyndham Street North Guelph, brandished two pairs of scissors and demanded prescription narcotics.

Guelph Police were called and located the male at the store and arrested without incident.

The store employees were not injured.

The 46-year-old Guelph male is in custody and is facing charges of Robbery, Weapons Dangerous, Mischief Under $5,000, Breach Probation and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
