Mapleton has lowest vaccination rate among WDG Public Health municipalities

The Township of Mapleton has the lowest rate of single or fully vaccinated eligible residents in the public health region.

WDG Public Health is now breaking down vaccination data by municipality.

Less than 60 per cent of eligible Mapleton residents have received at least one dose. No other municipality in the region is reporting under 70 per cent. 

The City of Guelph and the Town of Grand Valley have the highest rate of eligible residents with at least one dose at over 90 per cent. 

The breakdown of eligible residents vaccinated by municipality is:

  • City of Guelph: more than 90 per cent at least one dose, 80-89 per cent fully vaccinated
  • Wellington North: 80-89 per cent at least one dose, 80-89 per cent fully vaccinated
  • Centre Wellington: 80-89 per cent at least one dose, 80-89 per cent fully vaccinated
  • Puslinch: 80-89 per cent at least one dose, 70-79 per cent fully vaccinated
  • Minto: 70-79 per cent at least one dose, 70-79 per cent fully vaccinated
  • Guelph/Eramosa: 70-79 per cent at least one dose, 70-79 per cent fully vaccinated
  • Erin: 70-79 per cent at least one dose, 60-69 per cent fully vaccinated
  • Mapleton: less than 60 per cent with at least one dose and less than 60 per cent fully vaccinated.
