Maxime Bernier, the leader of the People's Party of Canada, will be in Guelph on July 19.

Bernier will be here for a one-hour interview and 30-minute audience question and answer period hosted by the local PPC riding association and local candidate Mark Paralovos.

"We will discuss a vision for Canada; immigration, the UN and illegal border crossing, veterans and the Canadian forces, free speech; out of control cost of living increases and more," says a press release.

"We will also outline what a People’s Party government can do if given a mandate."
The event takes place Friday, July 19, at 7:00 p.m. at the Guelph Youth Music Centre located at 75 Cardigan St.

Tickets are $20.
