Mayor Cam Guthrie will host the first-ever Mayor’s Dialogue on Poverty at Guelph City Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 25 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

The featured speaker will be Guelph-Wellington Bridges Out of Poverty facilitator and Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health nurse Elaine Weir. Bridges Out of Poverty, under the umbrella of Circles Guelph Wellington, is an innovative local program that educates individuals from the middle or upper class on what it means to live in poverty.

As part of the event, information tables from local organizations will be set up in the Galleria.
