More snow on the way, says Environment Canada

Motorists should prepare for poor winter travelling conditions Thursday evening into Friday

Special weather statement in effect for:
    •    Guelph - Erin - Southern Wellington County
    •    Kitchener - Cambridge - Region of Waterloo
    •    Mount Forest - Arthur - Northern Wellington County

5 to 10 cm of snow Thursday night into Friday.

A low pressure area from the Southern Plains States is expected to track towards the Great Lakes Thursday.

Snow is forecast to begin falling late Thursday afternoon with general snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm by the time the snow begins to taper off Friday morning.

Motorists should be prepared for reductions to visibility and poor winter travelling conditions Thursday evening into Friday. The Friday morning commute could be particularly slow and messy.
