MOUNT FOREST – Mount Forest will be booming for a few days as an annual town festival returns.
Starting Thursday and running all weekend, the 21st Mount Forest Fireworks Festival will be bringing four days of events and displays to the Wellington North town.
Things are kicked-off with a ribfest Thursday evening at the Mount Forest before things are kicked up a notch with a special demolition derby event on the Friday and a fireworks “mini-show.”
Saturday features events running all day including a car, truck and motorcycle shows, wrestling, kids zone, live music, a big fireworks display and more.
Things wind down on Sunday with a touch-a-truck and soap box derby.
Midway and beer gardens run Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.
Some events cost extra.
