TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH – On February 3, 2024, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft from a business in Mount Forest. It was reported that at approximately 8:45 a.m., an individual stole a charity donation box from a check-out counter.
As a result of the investigation, [a 33-year-old man] from Mount Forest was charged with theft under $5,000 contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph, on March 29, 2024.
