Music Weekends, an event aimed at providing quality and pay-what-you-can music while attracting people to the downtown core, kicks off this weekend.
Music Weekends offers shows by a variety of artists playing in some unconventional locations on weekends from Jan. 6 through until March 11.
The free shows kick off Saturday with a performance by Saturdae Jones (D’Eve Archer) at eBar at 3 p.m. On Sunday, A Bunch of Broadway Babies will be performing at Van Gogh’s Ear at 3 p.m.
Other performers scheduled to perform so far are Freeplay Duo, Reid Jamieson, The Peptones, Banjo Mechanics, Harrow Fair & guest. More will be announced shortly.

Music Weekends is a collaboration between the Downtown Guelph Business Association, Hillside Inside, CFRU, Kazoo Fest, Silence, Kaleidoscope Music and Gain Music.
All events are family friendly.
