No injuries from Sunday fire at Canadian Tire (video)

The cause of the fire is still under investigation

Guelph Fire quickly arrived on scene to extinguish a fire that erupted in Canadian Tire this weekend.

On Sunday morning just before 10 a.m., Guelph Fire responded to a reported fire at the store located at 10 Woodlawn Rd. E. Firefighters found flames inside the entrance of the store when they arrived. 

Canadian Tire staff had self-evacuated from the store and no one was injured. Guelph Fire remained on the scene to aid in the investigation and remove smoke from the store.

The cause of the fire along with an estimate of damage is still under investigation by the Guelph Fire Prevention Bureau.
