Storytelling and song will combine for an online event aimed at helping the North End Harvest Market to address food insecurity.
The event, known as ‘Feeding Tummies & Souls,’ features a lineup of storytellers set to share tales of their lived experiences, as well as musical performances, including folk music singer-songwriter and former city councillor James Gordon.
It’s set for June 15 beginning at 7 p.m.
“So put on your fuzzy slippers and grab you favourite cup of tea and sit back and be thoroughly entertained by folks telling stories through the arts and the authentic eyes of lived experience,” the event poster states.
Tickets to Feeding Tummies & Souls cost $20 each and can be bought through Eventbrite. A link to the live event will be sent to those who buy tickets.
Donations to the North End Harvest Market are also encouraged. They can be made here.
