TOWN OF ERIN – Today at approximately 3 p.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received information that Nicole Mercer was located in another policing jurisdiction in good health. 

Wellington County OPP would like to thank the media and members of the public for their efforts in trying to locate the missing teen.

TOWN OF ERIN – Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the assistance from the public regarding a missing 15-year-old female named Nicole Mercer. 

She was residing in the Town of Erin and on January 24, 2016 while in Newmarket, she decided to run away. 

York Regional Police is investigating and is seeking the assistance of the Wellington County OPP should she return to the area. 

It is believed that she is possibly in the Toronto area. 

Her community ties include Hamilton, Newmarket, Toronto and Stouffville. 

Mercer is described as:

  • 5 feet 4 inches tall-164 cm
  • 120 lbs-54 kg
  • Medium length straight brown hair-will change hair colours
  • Was wearing a dark sweater and dark pants

Any person with information regarding Mercer is asked contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
