Six city council members had perfect attendance last year, participating in all 80 meetings related to their elected duties.

The gold star club includes Mayor Cam Guthrie, along with councillors Bob Bell, Christine Billings, James Gordon, Mark MacKinnon and Dominique O’Rourke.

Councillors Cathy Downer and  Rodrigo Goller were each one meeting shy of having perfect attendance, followed by Mike Salisbury (78), Phil Allt (77) and Leanne Caron (73).

With 71 meetings under their belts last year, councillors Dan Gibson and June Hofland finish out the list.

City staff released council’s 2021 attendance record on Friday. Included in the 80 meetings are regular and special council sessions, along committee of the whole and committee of management for The Elliott Community.
