GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP – On Jan. 18, 2017 at approximately 2:25 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a 2009 Acura on Wellington Road 29 south of Wellington Road 124, Guelph-Eramosa Township. 

The officer spoke with a female driver and detected suspected marijuana in the vehicle. She was arrested and suspected marijuana, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, Viagra and Xanax were seized. 

35 year-old Kelly Ann Mcwhinnie of Hamilton is charged with;

  • Possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking - marijuana- under 3 kg-Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (C.D.S.A.)
  • Possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking - Xanax - C.D.S.A
  • Possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine – C.D.S.A.
  • Possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking – viagra – C.D.S.A.
  • Possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine – C.D.S.A.
  • Operate a motor vehicle without insurance - Compulsory Insurance Automobile Act
  • Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit - Highway Traffic act

She was scheduled for Guelph Bail Court on Jan. 18, 2017.
