Police investigating assault at south end restaurant where race may have been a contributing factor

Police say racial slurs were used when three males attacked a male in a south end restaurant earlier this month

Guelph police are looking to talk to the individuals in this image regarding an assault investigation.

Members of the Guelph Police Service General Investigations Unit continue to investigate an assault that occurred on Dec. 11 at a south end restaurant.

It is alleged that three males physically attacked a male in the restaurant, while yelling profanities including racial slurs. Hate and/or bias has been recognized by police as a contributing factor in this assault.

The victim in this incident did not sustain any serious injuries.
