Police say teen driver was going 105 km/h in a 40 km/h zone

GUELPH/ERAMOSA – A 19-year-old Fergus resident was charged with stunt driving after police say they clocked him going 65 kilometres over the speed limit earlier this week.

Wellington County OPP report that on Sunday, June 25, at approximately 10:30 a.m., an officer observed a motor vehicle travelling approximately 105 km/hr in a 40 km/hr zone on Indian Trail near Eden Mills.

As a result of the investigation a 19-year-old from Fergus has been charged with stunt driving and with failing to surrender a drivers licence.
