Police see two men with bikes. Arrest ensues

On June 19, 2016 at 3:30 a.m., the Guelph Police made person stops with two males after they had been seen walking on Gordon Street and were now on bikes.

Investigation discovered that both bikes had just been stolen from an apartment building storage area and the males were arrested.

The subsequent search found a tool consistent with break and enters on one of the men.

Michael Matte, 39 years old of Guelph has been charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property, possession of break and enter instruments and breach of probation. He will appear in court on June 20, 2016.

Benjamin Mannhardt, 45 years old of Guelph has been charged with break and enter and possession of stolen property. He will appear in court on July 15, 2016.
