Police spot Mitsubishi going way too fast

They seized it, and the driver's licence
speeding highway

On April 25, 2016 at approximately 12:30 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was monitoring traffic on Highway 6 near Laird Road in the City of Guelph. 

The officer observed a male driving a 2015 Mitsubishi well above the posted speed limit. 

The vehicle was locked on radar at approximately 137 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.

24-year-old Benjamin Faulkner of Guelph has been charged with race a motor vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.  He is to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on May 18, 2016.
