With respiratory illness season upon us, Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health is launching a new dashboard to keep track of respiratory illnesses in the community.
The Respiratory Illness Activity Dashboard launched Tuesday will document the number of reported COVID-19 and flu cases in the region.
It will display wastewater data, COVID-19 vaccination rates, the number of days patients have spent in hospital with COVID-19, flu or RSV, deaths caused or contributed by COVID-19 or influenza, as well as previous seasonal totals.
It will be updated every Wednesday with the latest data on respiratory illness activity in the region.
It replaces the previous COVID-19 dashboard, which was updated with new information every Wednesday throughout the pandemic, and will be unavailable after Sept. 20.
Facility outbreaks, meanwhile, can be found in the outbreak bulletin here.
