The days of sharing a fire chief with another municipality may soon be over in Puslinch.

During its meeting last week, Puslinch council approved a motion extending its shared service agreement with Centre Wellington until March 31, in the hopes of having a new fire chief in place by then.

The shared service agreement was approved in June of 2022 and has been in place since, with Tom Mulvey holding the top spot of both departments.
