RED CARPET: Here's who came out to Black Tie Bingo in support of Guelph General Hospital

Event had a record-breaking fundraising year

This past weekend marked the 27th annual Black Tie Bingo fundraising gala in support of Guelph General Hospital.

The event returned to an in-person format after two years of virtual programming due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the support of guests, sponsors, in-kind donors of service, product and auction prizes, and the dedication of the volunteer planning committee and event volunteers, the event raised record-breaking funds for the hospital.

Funds raised at the 2023 Black Tie Bingo are being used to support Guelph General Hospital’s surgical team, who are working to catch up with the backlog of procedures caused by the pandemic. Surgical tables, specialized overhead lights, scopes and orthopaedic drills are some examples of the equipment that Black Tie Bingo will help fund this year.

GuelphToday is proud to sponsor this event, along with our Red Carpet gallery sponsor, Danby.
