We’re getting Halloween started a bit early this year at the Riverside Park Scareousel, Oct. 26 and 27.

Make a cash donation to the United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin and ride the carousel for the last time this season between 6 and 9 p.m. Trick-or-treat yourself to unlimited Halloween-themed carousel rides, complete with spooky music, treats and refreshments donated by Tim Hortons.

“We’re excited to open up the carousel for one last spin in the spirit  of Halloween,” says Martin Neumann, manager of Parks Operations and Forestry with the City of Guelph. “Our parks staff are incredibly innovative and thoughtful. Using a community treasure like the carousel to raise funds for our local United Way is just like them.”

Don’t forget to “creep it real” and bring your Halloween costume. All ghouls and goblins are welcome.
