Both lanes on Victoria Road North just north of Speedvale Avenue were closed Tuesday afternoon after a flatbed truck lost part of its load following a collision.
The incident happened around 12:30 and police said the road will be closed most of the afternoon as cleanup takes place.
The truck's load shifted and slid into the cab following a collision, police said. Some of the load ended up on the road.
Police are advising people to avoid the area and find an alternate route.
