UPDATE: Due to weather issues, the flypast will not be happening Saturday and will now take place Sunday.

The Canadian Armed Forces Snowbirds are scheduled to do a flypast of Guelph late Saturday afternoon.

The flypast by the air demonstration squad is part of Operation Inspiration, a cross-country tour that began in Nova Scotia.

Saturday's schedule sees them leaving London Saturday at 4:15 p.m. then flying over Kitchener and Guelph before heading north over Collingwood and Barrie before landing at 5:15.

The times and route are subject to change and people are encourged to check the Snowbirds Facebook page and Twitter account for updates.

The Snowbirds are encouraging physical distancing when enjoying the event.

"We encourage Canadians to observe the flyover from the safety of their homes and refrain from travelling to see the flyovers," says the Snowbirds Facebook account.
