The Guelph Public Library is excited to partner with Vocamus Press once again to offer teens a chance to express their creativity. “It’s ALL Write: Teen Short Story Contest” runs until 5 p.m. on Saturday, Apr. 8, 2017.

Teens in Grades 7 through 12 are encouraged to write a short story on any topic in 1,500 words or less and send it to [email protected]. This year we will also feature an additional section in the Etch Anthology dedicated to stories about the experience of being a newcomer.

Participants may also have their work included in the Etch Anthology to be sold in June.

Put your artistic talents to good use and design a book cover for our “Judge a Book by its Cover Teen Contest.”The sky’s the limit! Paint, draw, photography, digital arts – you decide!

The winning cover will be featured as the “Etch Anthology” book to be released in June - plus you could win a Downtown Guelph gift certificate. Submit your entry to [email protected] or in person to any library location before 5 p.m. on Saturday, Apr. 8, 2017. Grades 7 to 12.
