Love, lust and madness permeate the stage during the Guelph Little Theatre's presentation of The Beauty Queen of Leenane.
The play centres around Maureen Folan, a beautiful but troubled spinster living with her miserable mother in an Irish cottage in the late 1990's.
Maureen falls for Pato Dooley, who has dreams of bigger and better places. But love is never simple.
The Beauty Queen of Leenane will be performed Jan. 24 to Jan. 27 and again from Jan. 31 to Feb. 3.
Adult tickets are $22 and are available online or at the box office at 176 Morris St.
