A new building for The Beer Store is now open on Woolwich Street, on the same site the previous store was located, across from Riverside Park.
It opened for the first time on Wednesday.
The new building is 618 sq. m. in size, whereas the previous building was 800 sq. m.
A 96-unit townhouse project will also call 710 Woolwich St. home, behind the new Beer Store building. The previous building is to be removed to make way for that development.
That location has been home to The Beer Store since 1958.
