Tools and equipment worth $16,000 stolen from south end business

Guelph police are investigating after more than $16,000 in tools and equipment were stolen from a south end business sometime last weekend.

Monday morning, police were called to the business near Southgate Drive and Clair Road West. Staff had arrived to work to find three company vans were entered over the weekend by cutting off the locks to the cargo areas.

Equipment missing included three Stihl concrete saws and three Honda gas-powered generators.
