TOWN OF ERIN - At approximately 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an assault that occurred on Main Street, Erin. It was reported that a male was violently assaulted by another male in the street.
OPP and paramedics attended and the male was transport by ambulance to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 16-year-old male, who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with assault, cause bodily harm.
