A University of Guelph Gryphon got her wings clipped at the Big Brother Canada house in a brutal triple eviction.

Now that’s she’s out, she can talk to the world about her experience.

“It was super surreal,” said Riemer. “When I applied I didn’t really think that I would be contacted after, like there’s no way. But I obviously was, and Bob’s your uncle.”

“The first day was crazy, I don’t even remember what happened. After that it became your life, you really forgot there were cameras ... it became a way of life.”

Although Riemer didn’t make it to the final, she said she wouldn’t change a thing.

“No, I think my mentality going into it was that it was a marathon not a sprint, so you have to have a good balance between making big moves, but (also) focusing on the longevity of your game,” said Riemer. “I definitely don’t regret anything that I did.”

Riemer is getting ready for jury on the show where she will help in deciding which housemate will win the grand prize of $100,000 and other bonuses.

"Now it’s so weird going into another part of the game we haven’t been acclimated to, so we have to get used to it all over again,” said Riemer.

“I’m glad that even though I’m off the game, I still have a final say in a way and I can ask questions and gain some new perspective before I cast my ballot for who should win, and I am looking forward to that.”

This September Olivia is looking forward to finishing her undergraduate degree in political science at U of G and will find time for all your Big Brother Canada questions if you see her in town or on campus.

“If you see me don’t be afraid to come and ask me questions about the game,” said Riemer. “I’ll be able to talk about the show for months, I’m sure.”

Big Brother Canada airs Wednesdays at 7 p.m., Thursdays at 8 p.m. and Mondays at 9 p.m. on Global.
