Van crosses median in head-on collision

Both drivers were transported to a local hospital by ambulance with undisclosed injuries

PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP – Today at approximately 9:45 a.m. members of the Wellington County OPP responded along with Guelph Fire and Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to a head-on collision involving two motor vehicles on the Hanlon Expressway near Laird Road in the City of Guelph. 

Investigation revealed that a 2012 GMC Cube Van that was travelling northbound lost control and entered the grass centre median before it crossed over into the southbound lanes where it collided with a 2014 Honda Civic head-on.

Both drivers were transported to a local hospital by ambulance with undisclosed injuries.

The investigation is still on-going and more information will be released when it becomes available.
