Guelph’s Wellington Brewery took home the gold medal from the U.S. Open Beer Championship on the weekend.
Wellington Special Pale Ale was the winner in the English pale ale category of the event, which was held in Oxford, Ohio.
In total, 6,300 different beers competed in 110 categories.
Last year Wellington SPA won silver in the same competition.
